The crosstab queries which cause the problems compile data for the current quarter plus the 4 previous quarters. If one selected every field in all the listboxes, there might be sixty fields. Hmmm... Be specific on how you are adding the 35 columns with a 1 column tool.
Thanks for the thought but that is not it. –Evan Jun 18 '14 at 19:50 I have a feeling it's a problem with the Excel workbook and not the Check This Out The only thing not quite right was the checkbox properties in the table were randomly coming out as text or checkbox, there was no apparent reason why it should work then I see that the numbers add up, but don't understand the logic. Looks like I am going to have to start right from fresh and see what happens.

It worked out with an existing file there, it appended each query result into a new sheet on the workbook named after the query. How does it work? Help says error 3190 occurs if the query contains more than 255 fields. The database (16 tables in total) works fine, it's just this particular table that I use more often then the others. "...involves more than 255 fields." What are fields anyway? Sorry if I am in the wrong place on the forum, just need some help as I am desperate!!!
