Major gratitude to you for posting 'Error 1305' and subsequent resolution. Brilliant. The error occurs because MSI packages run under the msiexec service, which uses the LocalSystem account by default, and SUBST mappings are specific to each user. Also tried closing all instances of Visual Studio prior to testing.
