My vita is the 1000 model and the subscription is 3G. I've tried both and it's not working at all. Since you bought it recently I would advise going back to the store with it. Qisahn was infamous for selling Hong Kong version when Vita was first launched but telling customers they are local SG version. (HK versions have the SG authority approval mark behind the Qisahn still insisted that their is local and refused to take any action, until much much later. this content Share it with Sony here.
