Better fit would probably be Acronis Backup & Recovery. Previously, Jakob was employed for 7,5 years in NNIT (Danish IT service provider owned by Novo Nordisk) working mainly with VMware virtual infrastructure and design. I found this KB article that says it is a "known issue" and that you should convert the disks individually. As for your error, were you ever able to rectify them? When I try converting just the C:\ into a vmware workstation virtual machine and then onto the esxi host, no problems. After several attempts with various versions of the converter: 5.0.1, 5.1.0, 5.1.2, where the converter would complete drive C: then fail, I decided to give Converter 6.1 a try.
